Our experienced and professional staff is eager to help. We have two physicians and one nurse practitioner.

Karen A. Moore, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Moore, President and owner of Cumberland Pediatrics, has been practicing pediatric medicine in your community for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina and did her training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Moore specializes not only in her patients' health, but also in their unique personalities.

Alice E. Wilson, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Wilson received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Spelman College. She is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine and remained at Emory for her internship and residency in pediatrics – along with Dr. Moore. She is board certified with over 20 years experience and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to private practice, she has taught pediatrics at Texas Tech Health Services University and Walter Reed Army Community Hospital. Dr. Wilson enjoys children of all ages.

Kevin Mason, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Mason is our newest MD to join Cumberland Pediatrics. Dr. Mason received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Morehouse College. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospital along with Dr. Moore and Dr. Wilson. Dr. Mason is board certified and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He brings over 21 years of experience to our practice.

Nurse Practitioners
Pediatric Nurse Practitioners collaborate with pediatricians to provide comprehensive care to children by focusing on health maintenance, education and injury prevention. They have a unique 4-year undergraduate degree in nursing with a 2-year graduate degree specializing in pediatrics.

Tasheeka Williams, CPNP, is a certified nurse practitioner. Her educational background includes an undergraduate nursing degree from the University of NC at Charlotte and a master's degree from Emory University. Ms. Williams is particularly interested in newborn and adolescent care. She is also focused on educating parents and children and allowing them to set and reach their own healthcare goals.

Wendy Davison, CPNP, is a certified nurse practioner. Her educational background includes an undergraduate nursing degree from the State University of West Georgia and a master's degree from Georgia State University. Ms. Davison enjoys interacting with children of all ages but particularly likes taking care of newborns, toddlers and pre-schoolers, with a focus on safety and health maintenance.
